Life at Circle ITWe’ve grown considerably over the last few years and have worked hard as a business to develop our team of dedicated individuals who share our goal of providing first class customer services. We understand that happy staff equal happy clients and focus on keeping our team energised and enthusiastic. We do this by providing an exciting work environment, training, development, bonus schemes and social events, as well as various recognition & reward programmes.

Visit our offices at any point and you’ll probably find members of our team shooting pool or in competition on FIFA on the PS4 console. It’s a fun way for all members of our team to interact away from the traditional desk environment and collaobration between all teams throughout the company is always actively encouraged.

This is all supported by our great internal promotion programme which focuses on promoting from within, giving every member of the team the opportunity to build and develop long term careers at Circle IT.

We believe in getting the very best out of our people and this begins with our recruitment process. Our welcoming interviews are designed to put new team members at ease, and allows us to provide them with an introduction to the company.

We hire based on our core values & attitudes and set behavioural questions to find the personalities in our candidates, ensuring we get the right people for the job. Successful candidates begin life at Circle IT with a comprehensive week long induction and 4 follow

up progress meetings wich ensure they have the support they need to get their career at Circle IT off to a flying start. Our employees go on to enjoy working on a range of interesting projects for clients of all sizes including some exciting, well-known companies.

Learning on the job

Our apprenticeship programme started in 2013. As a business we identified the need to grow from within, so we looked at the type of skills an apprentice would need to start with and what they would need to learn during the course of the apprenticeship.

Our apprenticeship programmes typically last for two years, with our apprentices beginning in entry-level IT jobs, such as fielding calls to experienced colleagues. There are also potential opportunities to work in the Administration, Finance, Sales and Marketing Teams.

Our apprentices can expect two annual appraisal meetings, training programmes and a twice monthly progress meeting. We encourage our apprentices to develop quickly - the programme is rewarding with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and to progress internally.

As a dynamic IT solutions company, a large portion of our workforce work in a technical role, but we also have a number of non-technical staff who work across a variety of different departments.

Our roles include:

> IT Service Desk Support> Field Engineers> Project Engineers> Finance Staff > New Business Sales> Internal Sales> Account Management> Marketing> Operations> Human Resources> Administration

Each of our Team Leaders run regular 1-2-1s with their teams, and the use of coaching is encouraged throughout the business. Departments meet once a month to review their performance and to be kept up to date on key changes within the business.

Collaboration between teams is strongly encouraged and working groups are often set up to tackle specific projects, with each team bringing a different view to the table.

Regular department briefing meetings allow our staff to update the rest of the team on the projects they are involved in and are a great informal environment to discuss ideas or put new suggestions forward.

We constantly remind our employees that they ARE our business and every single one of them contributes to our success, with collaboration and sharing at the heart of this.
