How to Write a Cinquain

Line 1: 1 word subject (noun - naming word)

• Line 2: 2 adjectives (describing words)

• Line 3: 3 words that express action (verb)

• Line 4: 1 phrase about the subject

• Line 5: 1 synonym for the subject

• Also add a suitable title

Synonym

A word or phrase that means the same as another word or phrase in the same language

For example: shut is a synonym of close
