Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 66, s. 2018, all public elementary and secondary schools are mandated to implement the Brigada Eskwela also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week om May 28 to June 2, 2018 with the theme "Pagkakaisa Para sa Randa, Ligtas at Matatag na Paaralan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan." 2. Relative to this, the Schools Division of Imus City has lined up e following activities for the Division Implementation of 2018 Briga Eskwela: I. 2018 Division Brigada Eskwela Caravan and Kick-off Ceremony a. The City Govement of Imus, being the Flag Capital of the Philippines, joins the nation in celebration of the National Flag Day every May 28 to commemorate the victorious Battle of Alapan where the Philippine flag was first unrled. b. In lieu of this, the Dhision Brigada Eskwela Caravan and Kick-off Ceremony shall be held on May 29, 2018 (Tuesday) at 6:30am. The motorcade will start at Imus Pilot ES and will proceed to Imus National High School-Main for the kick-off ceremony. c. Each school is expected to send at least five (5) paicipants to attend this activity. Ideally, the school representatives are the School Head, ASP/BE Coordinator, SDR Focal Person, PTA President/Officer, and Barangay Captain/Official. d. The school delegation should provide one (1) official vehicle for the motorcade. e. Schools are requested to bring own provision r breakst and snacks. f Wearing of Brigada Eskwela t-shirts and posting of taaulins are encouraged. The official 2018 Division Brigada Esela Tarpaulin in high resolution can be accessed at the SDO ICT Unit c/o Mr. June Bence L. Adelan, Division ITO. g. Relative to this, schools may conduct their own kick-off ceremony but are advised to keep it simple so as not to pre- empt the Division event. h. As stipulated in Division Memorandum No. 154, s. 2018, winners of the 2018 Division Brigada Eskwela Jingle Making Contest will be recoized in this activity. 1. TERMS OF REFERENCE
A. Executive Committeel. Set the over-all management and direction of the event thru meetings and technical assistance.
B. Caravan Committee1. Set the route of the caravan and plan the order of vehicles of participants.2. Coordinate with the city government to ensure smooth traffic flow during and after the caravan. 3. Lay-out and assign parking area for the vehicles of the caravan.4. Coordinate with host school to organize teams for peace and order.5. Ensure availability and functionality of a sound system for the motorcade.
C. Program and Accommodation Committeel. Provide guidance, give instructions and monitor work teams.2. Specifically, assign ushers and usherettes to assist important visitors and dignitaries.3. Orient ushers/usherettes on proper protocol of assisting visitors and guiding crowd to respectiveareas.4. Provide immediate appropriate action to minor issues/concerns.
D. Registration Committee1. Record attendance of all officials, guests and pmticipants in the Division Kick-off Ceremony.2. Submit copy of attendance to the Executive Committee.3. Assist the participants with their needs.
E. Communications Committee1. Send invitations to officials and stakeholders.2. Follow-up confomation of the invitees' attendance.3. Handle communication concerns before and dming the event.4. Prepare all letters needed for request/support/assistance.5. Prepare a press release/ news article of the event.
F. Documentation Committee1. Handle print/video documentation before and during the event.2. Process the naintive report/s required by the Division, Region or Central Office.
G. Physical Facilities Committee1. Set up floor plan of the Division Kick-off Ceremony.2. Maintain cleanliness and ensure orderliness during the event.
H. Certificates Committee1. Prepai·e program and invitation to all invitees. 2. Provide certificates of recognition to working teams.3. Layout tarpaulin designs and provide other necessary graphics.
I. Decoration Committee1.Set-up, lay-out and decorate the ground, hall and stage of the venue.
J. Technical Committee1. Set-up sound system and audio-visual presentation and ensure its availability and functionality.
