Jack Causey: Ministerial Resources Coordinator CBFNC

“ The greatest challenge facing congregations today, I believe, is changing from maintenance to missional mentality. In this regard, some of the practical issues that congregations face are:

Page 4: Church Council First Baptist Church of Madison Spring 2013.

Keeping up buildings and programs with fewer people coming to church and fewer dollars on the offering plate. Loss of a sense of community. Multiple distractions that pull people away from the church.Changing family structures. Cultural diversity.

Page 5: Church Council First Baptist Church of Madison Spring 2013.

The challenge is for the congregation to be less concerned about maintaining what it has and more concerned about accomplishing its God-given mission.”
