I heartily welcome the new students to the Unitedworld School of Business. It was a great experience to be a part of this
premium business school. This institute has given me real exposure of corporate world. The standard of learning, evalu-
ation process and guidance of faculties including Dean and Director helped me to enrich my knowledge and skills. The
support from our placement coordinator helped me secure my job in Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.
My message to the newcomers is: be open to receive the education provided by the institute, learn as much as possible
from our experienced faculties and be patient. Also remember that the scenario of what stands for good corporate ex-
perience has changed from desk work in air conditioned offices to field work in the market. Therefore be ready for
sweat and toil.
And enjoy the journey of UWSB ... All the best!

Unitedworld school of Business has a culture of its own which is inculcated in its students right from the onset of the course. The course curriculum is well designed, planned and executed. The faculty is always forthcoming with guidance and support pushing students to perform their best. Optimum stress is given on practical learning as well as classroom learning through various assignments and projects, which is the most important learning for management students. It has been a nice journey of my life in this college. The faculty at UWSB are well experienced. The classroom and all
other infrastructure are well equipped. The college provides good guidance and knowledge. We also had many
extracurricular activities which played a vital role in shaping our career and I have been placed at Ginger Hotels a TATA
enterprise. I welcome the students newly joined and wish them a very bright future in UWSB. A quote for them:
It has been a great experience and pleasure being a student of PGDM at UWSB. It was not easy for me to leave my
hometown in Nepal and settle in a completely new locality and mix with new people but UWSB gave me a different
feeling -- of joy and friendship all around. This campus enlarged my knowledge and polished my strengths which gave
me the confidence to deal with all types of situations. The support by my faculties and friends is something that I will
always appreciate. It is a matter of great pride for me to see my name on a work desk of the National Stock Exchange
(NSE) and this would not have been possible without joining UWSB.
I personally believe that UWSB is a great place to nurture our knowledge for starting a career and develop good
leadership skills within us.
I wish a great future to the incoming batch and I am sure that they will also have an awesome time here.

Hey super juniors! I am Samir Mehta, currently working as an officer at Times of India, Ahmedabad. What do I say
about UWSB ... I start having goose bumps the moment I think about the wonderful time I’ve spent there. UWSB has
converted me from a student to an industry ready manager. The infrastructure of the campus is amazing and the
teaching techniques are wonderful -- they don’t focus just on theoretical learning but emphasize on practical
approaches. Assignments are given in a way which brings out the creativity and knowledge of students. Other than
regular classes, they organize lot of guest lecturers where students get a chance to talk to the top notch corporate
executives from the industry. The college also organizes various conferences focused on entrepreneurship, which helps
young aspiring entrepreneurs to grow. Best part about the college is that there are events happening round the year,
be it sports, culture or academics. These have been my favourite things during life there.
Advice to students: actively participate in all the events happening in the college, and not just participate, but try to be a part of organizing team. During my period at UWSB I actively participated in organizing events like Conferences, Fresher’s party, Prom night, Cricket tournaments, Blood donation camps, Navratri Garba, Ganesh mahotsav, Durga pooja, etc. These events are great opportunity for you to apply the management concepts you learn in PGDM: managing funds, gathering crowd, brainstorming about what activities and games to be kept, making contacts and maintain good relations with students of other streams, initiating campaigns, public speaking, team work, etc. To initiate an event and playing a role of leader and identifying other students who have caliber to accomplish the task you will assign to them, to figure out the challenges which you will have to face and facing them strongly, Events are great way to employ your managerial concepts practically. Our faculties, Dean and Director are always there to help you but I too will be more than happy to help all my UWSBIANs and you can always get in touch with me.

UWSB is place you will never forget. I personally never thought I would be such a different person than what I was before joining the institution. UWSB has changed my life drastically. From submitting assignment to giving presentation, from organizing the events and hosting them till taking part in every event, life was fun back then. Oh God! Writing about those memories are making my eyes wet and getting me to feel nostalgic. I wish I could live those old good days again. To sum all this up I would just say UWSB was the best thing that ever happened to me and it is for sure ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE THAT YOU'LL NEVER FORGET PS: Make sure to submit your assignment on time.

EVERY ENDING HAS A NEW BEGINNING
First of all, I would like to congratulate all the incoming students for completing their graduation and for getting
admission to the Unitedworld School of Business.
Every ending has a new beginning. I believe our learning actually starts from here. When I left home two years back, I
wasn’t sure what I will get in return. I was excited and also a little scared of the new reality. But today, I am proud to say
that I had made the right decision then to come to Unitedworld School of Business. Every little encounter and
experience here in UWSB has been enriching and will remain within my memories lifelong: be it the induction program,
guest lectures, seminars, assignment or internship projects.
Life at UWSB does not end within the four walls of the classrooms. Everyone has the opportunity to show their talents
in diverse ways. Along with studies, extracurricular activities are conducted throughout the year, so that equilibrium
could be maintained with studies and there is overall development of the student.
Finally, it is a great place for learning and creating memories in the beautiful campus. It gives you a diversified
environment of people and culture from all over India. So, congratulation once again and wish you good luck with the
future ahead. Have a great start .
