What Country Sponsored the Explorer and the Opportunity

Costs that were Incurred

• The sponsoring country for his expedition was Spain. Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain gave him money for his expedition.

• Since King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella gave him money, even though he discovered new things, he had to give it to them.

Conclusion

• Some lifeskills Christopher Columbus used were patience, curiosity, and courage. He used patience because on Oct. 12, 1492, he saw land for the first time in 3 months. He used curiosity because he was curios to explore other lands. He used courage because you have to have courage to go to sea and leave your family.
