TERMS & CONDITIONS
MinimumTotal Orders: 10+ trees are required to qualify for wholesale prices. For orders of less than 10 trees please refer to our separate Trees for Business leaflet or to our Retail price list.
Orders: Orders must be made in writing. You may use the form provided or send your order by email. No order will be accepted until confirmed by the Estate who will return a confirmation of order. Every effort will be made to supply quantities and sizes requested but when that is not possible, the best available will be indicated on the order returned. Please remember to state your preferred date for collection or delivery. Please consider delaying some trees to ensure you have fresh stock as the season progresses.
Amendments to your order and special requests: Please contact us with any particular requirements at any time prior to despatch and we will do our best to assist. We will be pleased to discuss additional trees in the last weeks before Christmas, subject to availability.
Measurement: Trees are measured from the butt to the tip of the tree, top height measure. The leader height will be in proportion to the tree. All trees are banded in imperial graduations as appropriate to size. Please see attached table. Potted trees measure the top height stated from the root collar/soil level and exclude the height of the pot.
Containerised Trees: Containerised trees are potted for convenience only, in 10 and 12 litre red pots, and should not be sold as a living product. Please note that all trees are cut unless otherwise stated.
Labels: Each tree is marked with a new style Hole Park Estate label. Additional standard labels with care instructions will be provided to retailers free with each tree if required.
Delivery: All trees are sold ex farm. Delivery will be free within a 10-mile radius. A distance of up to 30 miles will be charged at £30 and up to 50 miles charged at £50, but does not include within the M25.
Other deliveries are by arrangement and larger deliveries will incur a haulier charge at cost.
Payment: For new customers, BACS payment in advance, cash or credit/debit card on collection or delivery, cheque payments may be accepted. Existing customers may trade on normal credit terms. Late payment: We reserve the right to claim statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England reference rate in force on the date the debt becomes overdue and at any subsequent rate where the reference rate changes and the debt remains unpaid in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002.
Undertaking: We will replace any tree found to be unsatisfactory if notified within 48 hours of delivery, by email, with an accompanying photograph.
Discount: For total orders of 100 – 250 trees a discount of 50p per tree will apply, for total orders of 251+ trees a discount of 75p per tree will apply. (Does not apply to 2nd grade trees) No other discount offer applies with this.
VAT: VAT will be added to all accounts.
Contract: The placing and confirmation of an order implies acceptance of these terms of sale.
