Stewardship Bulletin Bit“What profit would there be for one to gain
the whole world and forfeit his life?” —Matthew 16:26
St Francis of Assisi once said, “Remember, you are what you are in the eyes of God, and nothing else.” We often forget this stewardship wisdom when we spend all of our time, talent, and treasure to gain more of the world’s riches. We need to set our priorities based on God’s values and not the values of the material world.

Christ the Redeemer—parishioners, pastoral staff, pastoral council, and all ministries—welcome Reverend Thomas Mutavanattu to our parish community. Starting on Monday, we look forward to meeting and working with you.
Fr Thomas comes to us from St Mary’s Parish in Regina. Born in India, he began his priestly ministry in the Archdiocese of Regina in August of 2010, after arriving in Canada earlier in May.
Special Diocesan Collection for Development and Peace—THIS WEEKEND
Today, Development & Peace– Caritas Canada invites us to be in solidarity with communities in the Global South, whose situation is worsening due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Your donation will help our partners as they work for a just recovery in their countries so all can live in dignity.
Thank You!
Thank You AGAIN, Miracle Quilters! We have received another generous donation of $800 from our busy Miracle Quilters. A portion of this was from the sale of masks made by the quilters. The washable masks are available for $5 each—either before weekend Masses or from the office during the week. We encourage everyone to use one.
NEED OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS?June & Arnold Schroeder’s estate has generously donated many household items, now on display in St Michael Hall. You are all welcome to come and take what you need—for a donation of your choosing to Christ the Redeemer. Please put your donation in an envelope marked with your name and the item(s) taken, and drop it off in the office. Donations over $100 will be receipted.
Using Covid-19 precautions, please sanitize your hands upon entering, wear a mask at all times (and gloves if possible), and maintain social distancing. Please do not handle items unnecessarily. All items will be removed September 30. Thank you to all, and may God bless June and Arnold.
