A MESSAGE FOR YOU

The Divine Mercy Prayer Area: A Place to Give Thanks to the Lord
At the conclusion of the Last Supper, Jesus and his disciples sang a hymn prior to going out to the Mount of Olives. The hymn says: Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, his love is everlasting. Let the house of Israel say, "His mercy endures forever." Let the house of Aaron say, "His mercy endures forever." Let those who fear the LORD say, "His mercy endures forever (Ps. 118)." The Psalm speaks about thanksgiving to God for his steadfast love and mercy in rescuing his people from their enemies. When we pray it, we remember Christ’s passion and death and we thank God for raising Jesus from the dead. It reminds us to trust in the Lord and his merciful love. It truly endures forever. Thank you very much for your generous support. We’ve built a place to keep the Holy Oils. We’ve built a sacred space where we come to pray, especially the penitents, and experience the tremendous gift of God’s mercy that He wants to pour out on each one of us.
Let us “give thanks to the Lord for he is good; his mercy endures forever (Psalm 118:1).” And may the Lord help us to spread his mercy and to bear witness to it among all our brothers and sisters!
God Bless,
Fr. Rolyn Francisco

ADORATION Prayers of Thanksgiving to
all of our Adorers!
Perpetual Adoration could not exist without you!
Thank you for being willing to sacrifice an hour each
week (and for some of you 2 or 3 hours per week!!)
From Saint Pope John Paul II: "The Church and the
world have a great need for Eucharistic worship.
Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet Him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the
world. Let our adoration never cease."
From St Teresa of Calcutta: "When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you
then. When you look at the sacred Host, you understand how much Jesus loves you now."
Can you join our Perpetual Adoration Substitute team? We need more substitute adorers! When a substitute is needed you would receive an email
and only reply if you’re able to Adore that one time
Reply with your name, email address, and phone number to: [email protected]
There are 56 hours that need one more Adorer, please check the list in the Parish office
and in the Shrine. Thank you!
Come join our team. Adorers say the peace and the love they receive far outweighs
their sacrifice of one hour.
Discipleship is a lifestyle, it’s not a program or a process.
It’s how we are called to live our lives twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week!
It challenges us to live “God-centered” lives,
not “self-centered” lives.
Reflect on your daily activities.
Do you do them for the glory of God, or for the glory of your own name?

P. Rolyn Francisco

ENTRANCE ANTIPHON Ps 47 (46): 2 All peoples, clap your hands. Cry to God with shouts of joy!
Mosaic in the Basilica of St. Apollinare Nuovo, Ravenna, Italy
We are standing in between hope and despair, believing in your grace and the faith to declare:
You are with us. Hallelujah, hallelujah You are good.
In the ashes and the dust, the sorrow and pain, lies he promise of Your word and the pow'r of Your name.
And when faith gives way to fear, I will trust Your heart, I will trust your heart. When I cannot feel You near, I will trust Your heart I will trust Your heart.
There's a message being written with the morning sun, and a new song for the broken: Death has lost; Love has won!
You are with us, Hallelujah, Hallelujah You are good Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah You are good
Hallelujah (I have tasted), Hallelujah (I have seen it), Hallelujah, You are good Hallelujah (I remember), Hallelujah (I believe it), Hallelujah, You are good.
You are with us. Hallelujah, hallelujah You are good.
ACT OF FAITH DURING COMMUNION Lord Jesus Christ, I firmly believe that you are present in this Blessed Sacrament as true God and true Man, with your Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. My Redeemer and my Judge,
I adore your Divine Majesty together with the angels and saints. I believe, O Lord; increase my faith.
COMMUNION ANTIPHON Jn 17: 20-21 O Father, I pray for them, that they may be one in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me, says the Lord.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Your perfect love is casting out fear.
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life, I won't turn back I know You are near.
And I will fear no evil For my God is with me. And if my God is with me, Whom then shall I fear, Whom then shall I fear?
Oh no You never let go through the calm and through the storm. Oh no You never let go, in ev'ry high and ev'ry low. Oh no You never let go, Lord You never let go of me.
And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on. A glorious light beyond all compare.
And there will be an end to these troubles, but until that day comes, We'll live to know You here on the earth.
