THE ROAD TO RECOVERY:
Since the "Safer at Home" Order was lifted, there have
been many questions on how to move forward. We've
worked to compile all of the local, state, and federal
resources for our members to get back to business.
Whether you are looking for state safety guidelines
specific to your industry or financial assistance options
available, we have put that information all together in
one place for you.
The Chippewa County Department of Public
Health has released a COVID-19 Business
Toolkit and continues to ask businesses to
follow the reopening guidelines put forth by
the Wisconsin Economic Development
Corporation. Please take special note that
the guidelines are broken down by industry.

The recent outbreak of COVID-19 is putting our families, communities, countries and economies under
unprecedented pressure. Farmers are standing strong in the middle of this storm. In the face of great
uncertainty, the Chamber is hoping to express our gratitude to those keeping food on our table.
However, we need your help to determine the feasibility of this event.
The Farmer Appreciation Dinner (formerly the June Dairy Day Dinner) has been postponed
to Wednesday, August 19 at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. The committee is working hard
to safely provide a meal for the farmers and our community members in accordance with all regulations
and guidelines:
In order to successfully run this event, the Chamber needs to have a commitment for 1,000
tickets (half of the usual ticket sales) prior to June 15. Only then, will we begin advertising
the event to farmers.
**New opportunity this year, Platinum and Gold sponsors have the opportunity to have a booth display at
the event, a 10' x 10' area will be provided inside the building.**
