Children's Literacy

In this issue we sat down with Mayra Maldonado, owner of The Kid's Bookstore. Her enthusiasm of children's literacy inspired this issue and we hope that all the articles will help you and your child to in being successful readers. We also sat down with local author and illustrator of The Butterfly Journey. This book gives child courage and strength to overcome obstacles they go through. We also share many upcoming workshops for children of all ages.
