WHY ABUELA? I chose Abuela because it involves some multicultural parts, such as: words in Spanish, where some people come from, where some food are imported from and how they get here. I think these topics are important to students to learn, it helps them to understand why people speak different languages and value other cultures. I like to see how little children can use their amazing imagination. Also because I have been a dreamer all my life, I like fantasy, it doesn’t like realism.
