Chemistry Is A Blast!

Along the way, the Lilly scientists asked for volunteers to help and answered questions.

One experiment involved discerning whether balloons held hydrogen or helium.

These three scientists have traveled for nearly 11 years to share science with students and other groups.

Forst and her fellow scientists carried dry ice through the audience so students could not just witness, but feel its effects.

Lilly’s “Chemistry Is A Blast!” program is more than 20 years young, and 60 of our scientists

can put on the shows.

Our scientists illuminated science for a captivated group of

fourth and fifth-graders even when they were

in the dark!
