and has been focusing on Pre-Primary, Primary, Lower Secondary education through Montessori method and

Cambridge GCE A-Level at present. The school is located in three different premises - pre-primary, primary and the

secondary block. There are 11 buildings which houses grades nursery to ten, 4 libraries, 5 computer labs, adequate playing

grounds. The kitchen is separate for each block which provides hygienic food for all students and staffs.

Chelsea Int'l Academy is committed to help students who want to achieve both academic excellence as well as practical work experience during the course of their studies. Chelsea provides good and affordable practical education to support and create various opportunities to enhance the personal growth of the students . About 200 teaching staffs and about 80 non-teaching staffs are there to help the students in every possible way.

Teachers in all levels are trained and well experienced to teach about 1500 students. Coordinators in each block support the teachers in all ways possible. The school further supports and encourages teachers and support staffs by conducting workshops and orientations at regular intervals to enhance their efficiency at work and most importantly: team building.

The school organizes different educational tours, hiking, trekking, camping for students. Students are also highly encouraged to participate in various ECA activities such as in seasonal sports and games, quiz contest, spelling contest, elocution, debate, drama, modern and classical dance, music and vocal, yoga, martial arts, etc.

Chelsea international academy organizes various programmes on special occasions. Occasions like

Bhanu Jayanti, Saraswati Puja, Krishna Asthami etc that depict the Nepalese culture and customs are celebrated with great enthusiasm and sheer joy.

The teachers and students make arrangements of things like garlands, flowers, tika, etc which are

necessary for performing the puja. All of them pray to god by singing the prayers taught by the teachers. Sweets are distributed to all the

administrative, non – administrative staffs and the students as the prasad. Chelsea believes in

creating awareness and consciousness in the students through these activities. Since these

activities come annually , they are performed with great eagerness and pleasure.

Chelsea International Academy (CIA) believes in playing while learning. Different playgrounds are constructed for various sports. We have games period every week. Sports day is conducted every year Activities like marathon are conducted and winners are given prize.

Similarly, assembly is conducted every morning and evening , prayers are recited along with it. National anthem are also recited and students from different classes give speech.

Our classrooms are specially designed . Every classroom is provided with a notice board so that students can fill it with articles. Chelsea believes that each classroom must have minimum students. So, each classroom has about 25 student only so that education can spread systematically.
