Three Branches of Government• Legislative: Congress-Senate & House of Representatives

– Make the Laws/Change the Laws– Elected by the people– Discussed in Article I of the Constitution

• Executive: The President, Vice-President, Cabinet– Enforces the Laws

– Elected by the People/Electoral College– Discussed in Article II of the Constitution

• Judicial: Federal Courts and Organizations including the Supreme Court– Interprets the Laws/Determines Constitutionality – Appointed by the President/Confirmed by the Senate– Discussed in Article III of the Constitution
