Outgoing Fund Transfers through NBG Branches – Remarks
1. Money transfers by debiting an NBG Business Account:
1.1.1. Payment order in Euro, to a domestic bank by debiting a:
1.1.1 “Business BASIC” for Individuals and Legal Entities The applicable charges
1.1.2 “Business PRESTIGE” for Individuals
Up to 100 transfers/year: free of charge
besides the 100 transfers /year: the applicable charges
1.1.1 “Business PRESTIGE” for Legal Entities
Up to 200 transfers/year: free of charge
besides the 200 transfers /year: the applicable charges
1.2. For any other payment order The applicable charges
Urgent payment order (SHA), for same day transfer of funds within 4 hours: €10, on top of other charges applicable, as the case may be.

Νon-STP interbank orders: Extra charge in favour of domestic and foreign receiving bank: €4.90 and €10, respectively.
5.
Fund transfers marked ( SHA) or (BEN): Fund transfers to non European Economic Area (EEA) countries, irrespective of their currency, as well as within the EEA in non-EEA currencies, through a third bank, may be subject to additional fees charged by such third bank. Such fees vary depending on the bank, currency and amount transferred, as they are subject to each bank’s pricing policy. Therefore, in the context of transaction transparency, NBG is not able to notify in advance the fees that may be charged on a payment order. Any charges are borne by the final beneficiary.
6. Fund transfers with fees charged to the payer (OUR): The payer is charged with interbank expenses in favour of both the paying and
intermediate banks.
If such charges are known to the Bank in advance, the customer-payer is accordingly notified prior to the issue of the fund transfer order (guaranteed OUR).
Otherwise, the customer accepts to pay any charges that the beneficiary’s bank and intermediate banks may afterwards request.
- Interbank fees for the payer’s account (OUR) are not charged on: a) Outgoing fund transfers for paying credit cards issued by other
domestic banks. b) Outgoing fund transfers to immigrants' countries of origin.
7. Outgoing money transfers via alternative channels (Internet/Phone banking / ATM banking): For money transfers available to individuals and businesses via Internet and Phone banking and their privileged pricing, as well as for immigrant remittances via ATM banking, see under section Electronic Services.

Charges for incoming fund transfers: The above charges, as applicable, are collected for all incoming remittances to the electronic systems of the Bank, regardless of the channel used by the orderer of the issuing bank (Branch , Internet/Phone banking etc.).
4.
Cancellation of incoming orders, when requested by the ordering bank: a) €15 for payment orders up to €150. b) €35 for payment orders over €150. At all events, the above charges are withheld from the payment order to be cancelled.
5.
If the customer requests to be paid in cash in foreign banknotes instead of euro, the predefined commission for the purchase of foreign banknotes applies additionally to the above listed charges.
6.
Value dates of incoming money transfers to deposit accounts: See under the relevant detailed section (Value Dates of Deposit Accounts) on the “Deposits – Rates & Charges” table.
7. DEFINITIONS: STP = Straight Through Processing is an order containing BIC code and ΙΒΑΝ number of customer, and not containing specific instructions for the Bank. NON STP = Non Straight Through Processing is an order that does not contain the STP data as above.

1. Allocation of fees: The fees collected under 1 and 2 hereinabove, for the sale and purchase of securities and corporate bonds are

(35%) is collected as the expenses for receiving and forwarding the order
(15%) is collected as custody costs
2. Expenses in favor of third parties: Transactions regarding the purchase and sale of securities on the ATHEX and CSE are charged additionally, besides the fees, with the expenses each time applicable, in favor of HELEX, calculated on the value of the transaction (including, but not limited to:contributions, transfer fees, clearance fees and other) and broken down in the transaction/securities list issued from time to time by the broker.

Indication of remittance commission to a foreign bank :
Fund transfers with fees charged to the payer (OUR): The payer is charged with interbank expenses in favour of both the
paying and intermediate banks.
If such charges are known to the Bank in advance, the customer-payer is accordingly notified prior to the issue of the fund transfer order (Guaranteed OUR).
Otherwise, the customer accepts to pay any charges that the beneficiary’s bank and intermediate banks may afterwards request. Fund transfers marked ( SHA) or (BEN): Fund transfers to non European Economic Area (EEA) countries, irrespective of
their currency, as well as within the EEA in non-EEA currencies, through a third bank, may be subject to additional fees
charged by such third bank. Such fees vary depending on the bank, currency and amount transferred, as they are subject
to each bank’s pricing policy. Therefore, in the context of transaction transparency, NBG is not able to notify in advance
the fees that may be charged on a payment order. Any charges are borne by the final beneficiary.
6.5.
Abbreviations used for charges for money transfer to foreign (EU) bank: Money transfers of this type are always marked “SHA” (i.e. the payer is charged with NBG’s commission and the beneficiary with the paying bank’s fee).
6.6.
Abbreviations used for charges for payments of credit card issued by other bank: Money transfers of this type are always marked “OUR” (the payer is charged only with NBG’s commission).
6.7.

General Remarks on the Charges for Other Banking Transactions
1. Commission on FX transaction. When buying or selling FX, a commission on FX transactions is collected, plus any standard charges: 1‰ minimum €5 and maximum €30
Note: In the event of withdrawals in Euro from FX deposit accounts, credits of FX deposit accounts in FX purchased against Euro, FX transactions via special accounts held with the Bank of Greece, transactions related to agents’ commissions, as well as purchase or sale of foreign banknotes, the said commission does not apply.
2. Customers are charged with the cost of any actual postage, telephone, telex and other expenses (such as legal, protest and local/foreign correspondent fees) incurred by NBG for their account, where applicable.
3. The charge rates are subject to VAT, where applicable.
4. This Table is periodically revised and the information provided limited to basic transactions terms of the Bank. For more detailed information on special transactions or terms, please consult your NBG branch.
