The First Resurrection

Page 16: Chapter Twenty

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God,

Page 17: Chapter Twenty

and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand;

Page 18: Chapter Twenty

and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Page 19: Chapter Twenty

Rev 20:5 The rest of the dead did not

come to life until the thousand

years were completed. This is the

first resurrectio

n.

Page 20: Chapter Twenty

The First Resurrection Is Not A Time of Resurrection, But A Kind Of Resurrection

Joh 5:28 Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice, Joh 5:29 and shall come forth, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have practiced evil to the resurrection of condemnation.

Page 21: Chapter Twenty

Act 24:15 And I have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a

resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

1Co 15:21 For since death is through man, the resurrection of the dead also is through a Man.

1Co 15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first-fruit, and afterward they who are Christ's at His coming;

Page 22: Chapter Twenty

Isa 26:19 Your dead ones shall live, together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is as the dew of lights, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors around you; hide for a little moment, until the fury has passed by.

Page 23: Chapter Twenty

21 For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the people of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her dead.

Dan 12:2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life,

and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Page 24: Chapter Twenty

Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the desolating abomination set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days shall occur. Dan 12:12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Dan 12:13 But you go on to the end, for you shall rest and stand in your lot at the end of the days.

The Work Of Satan Upon His Release

Page 29: Chapter Twenty

Rev 20:7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,

Page 30: Chapter Twenty

Rev 20:8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth,

Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

Page 31: Chapter Twenty

Rev 20:9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and

surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured

them.

Page 32: Chapter Twenty

Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them

was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast

and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day

and night forever and ever.

Page 36: Chapter Twenty

and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

Page 37: Chapter Twenty
