BREATH TESTS

The Point System

MVC keeps track of driver records through point system.

Up to 3 points are subtracted for every 12 consecutive months of violation free driving.

Point total cannot go under 0.

Driver Programs

Receive 12-14 points in more than a 24 month period and you receive a notice of suspension letter.

Probationary Driver Program

2 year probation period after receiving permit PROBATION = 2 or more violations totaling 4 points or
