Application of Ultrasound

Obstetrical: use to monitor the progress of pregnancy, enable other forms of prenatal testing for birth defects.

Gynecological: cases to see the structure of the ovaries, uterus, and surrounding regions and to detect cysts and tumors.

Prostate: examination for tumors.

US examination for the breast check for whether cysts or tumor.

Abdominal examination to see the structure of organs such as the bladder, pancreas , stomach and liver.

Renal studies to image the kidneys.

Thyroid examination for tumors and cysts.

Ophthalmologic: examination of eye tumors, foreign bodies.

Interventional ultrasonography used as guidance during a surgical procedure.
