ADVANCE SEAT RESERVATION (ASR)

•  Customers can select a seat of their choice for a fee either at the time of booking or later via Manage Booking until 72h before departure.

•  72 hours before departure Altéa runs a process called ‘theoretical seating’ to assign seats to customers who have not reserved them in advance. The seat allocation is based on customer ranking and business rules.

•  If the flight is full customers may be assigned chargeable seats free of charge (incl. Front row, Extra legroom or Economy Comfort seats) during the theoretical seating process as we have decided against putting customers on stand-by status at time of check-in. However, if the customer wishes to change their seat from what was assigned in theoretical seating, the new chosen seat may be chargeable. 5
