CHAIR MESSAGETOM REIF
As I sit here writing this in the last week of March, we have
received over 5 inches of snow and the cold air
just does not want to go away. Its hard to believe the first
quarter is over and its time to start the second quarter.
Fortunately, no matter how bad the weather
is, the Chamber continues to work hard for their
members as well as the community.
We had a successful Business after hours on March 11th at
Wheatstack, sponsored the Rotary Club of Lisle. We also had a
very good turnout for the Ribbon Cutting at the Country House
honoring their new location at 2799 Maple Avenue. Lastly, the
West Suburban Multi-Chamber Luncheon on March 26th featuring
Dave Alwan was very well received.
Lots of great things are coming in the month of April for
this
Chamber! If you know of a business that will benefit from all of
the opportunities this Chamber provides for networking,
business
growth, and valuable business contacts - dont wait any longer to
invite them!
Together, I know we will WORK TOGETHER and grow the Chamber to
new levels of success.

LISLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
NETWORKING GROUPS
The West Suburban Multi-Chamber Luncheon
was held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Bobaks
Signature Events. Members from 18 Chambers of
Commerce came out to enjoy the business expo,
and guest speaker Dave Alwan, Echo Valley
Meats. Dave shared his story, from when and how
he started his own business, to his experience
auditioning for, and appearing on ABCs Shark
Tank. Although Daves first Shark Tank
appearance did not result in a deal, his business certainly
benefited from the exposure. In March
2015, Dave appeared on Shark Tank for the second time, finally
securing a deal with
Mark Cuban.
