in grades 8 and 9.• Challenging education with a focus on problem solving.• Financed by Blekinge Tekniska Högskola and

Ehrensvärdska Gymnasiet in Karlskrona.

• Like-minded students - regarding maths and other things. • Variation of students – there’s no typical mathgeek.• How do we reach the right students? • Teaching with no limits! – Lärande utan tak!• Teacher role• Individual/Team-work.• Students from grade 8 carry continuity.

• Focus on mathematical skills - not the curriculum.• We don’t adapt to everyone – but always start off easy.• Thematic work over longer periods of time

or a new theme every week.• The role of the home shool teachers. • To encourage teachers to use the material in

their home classrooms – and become co-learners.

• How can we make principals realize the potential for pedagogical development that lies in this project –not only in maths, but in all subjects?

MANDATEA commission by the municipality wouldhelp anchor this project with the principlesand in turn give us the mandate to expectschools to actively participate.
