One-piece E.P.D.M. seamless rubber roof offers afull 12-year warranty and is specifically formulat-ed for exposure to the sun and natural elements.

Finite element analysis employedto insure the structural integrity ofcritical load-bearing components.

The 50-cu. ft. rear trunk has pass-through area approximately 29" highand 32" wide to accommodate thelargest of gear.

All trunks are equippedwith kazoo valves allowingeasy washing. Water willconveniently drain throughthis one-way valve.

Most Challengers have the holding tanks andwater tank housed in the same compartment, heat-ed by a furnace for worry-free extended seasonaluse. Because all of the water stays in the same gen-eral location, weight distribution is not a factor asthe water supply is used. The Challenger Bus hasa 65-gallon fresh water capacity and two 50-gallonholding tanks.

Most trunk openings are 22" high out-side the main rails and have full 12"pass-through areas. There are no exposedfasteners near the trunk openings to snagclothing. There’s even a central switchby the entry door to turn on the lights inevery storage compartment.

All storage compartments are con-structed of durable, rugged rotocastpolyethylene for easy cleaning andmaintenance, and framed-in steel fordurability and the best possibleweather seal.

13"-deep, heavy-duty 14-gauge steelcross member with I-shape memberwelded to each end maximizes verti-cal strength and provides a solidfoundation for Challenger body.

The Challenger body is isolated fromthe steel platform by a neoprene gas-ket to reduce the transmission of chas-sis noise and vibration to the body.

Panoramic tinted windshield allowsfor maximum visibility of the roadahead. Pantographic dual-arm wind-shield wipers and dual-side mirrorsprovide safety and convenience.

At this point, the single-piece laminated wall stops.Everything below this point is hinged to maximize exteri-or storage. Storage doors are laminated fiberglass forstrength and reliability. Plus they’re designed for easyopening with convenient push-button locks.

Our laminated, crowned roof is constructed with aluminumframework and lauan decking and combines with up to 3" ofexpanded polystyrene block foam insulation for increasedenergy efficiency.

This super-solid assembly is then covered wi th a one-piece seamless rubber roof specifically formulatedfor exposure to the sun and elements and covered by12-year warranty.

Take command of Challenger’s cockpit withinstruments that are easy to see, switches thatare easy to reach. Standard features includeautomatic transmission, cruise control, powersteering, convenient automotive-style heat andair conditioning controls, and much more. Driverand passenger seats swivel to the back and side. An optional driver’s door is available foradded convenience.

For safety’s sake, Challenger’s optional backupmonitor system enables you to look directlybehind your motorhome when backing up. Themonitor is placed conveniently so it can beviewed without losing sight of the side- view mirror.

Challenger Bus’ optional dash fans come in handy when defrosting the windshield incold or rainy weather.The fans help circulatethe a ir to keep the driver and passengercool in summer andwarm in winter.
