We’ll start with the Wheelers, who quite frankly are a welcome change from the drama.

Deanna and Nicole are massively cute and good parents and good workers.

The whole point of this family is to see how many different LTWs I can get. So far the number is a big fat Zero.

Their house while pretty doesn’t have the street appeal of some of the houses. It’s a box and thus, boxy.

Let’s check in on the inhabitants.

Deidre consoled herself by tub pirating. As you do.

Robert is awesome because unlike Odin he doesn’t let his alien son feel left out.

“I don’t get why you like chess so much, Loki.”

“It is a most entertaining game. It lets you study your opponent and learn how they think.”

“I don’t know,” Danielle said, scratching her head. “I prefer dancing.”

“Dancing is fun. Especially with my father. But it isn’t as intellectually stimulating as playing chess.”

“You think playing chess with me is intellectually stimulating?”

“To be honest, no. But you are a better player than Thor.”

Danielle picked up a piece and placed it down. “Thanks, I think. By the way, checkmate.”

“I revise my opinion.”

Yep, still stalky.

“What are you doing out here?”

“Gardening. It is fun and Loki’s still trying to figure out how he lost.”

“Oh. Well, then. Carry on.”

Time passed, because it does that. And soon it was time for birthdays.

Which of course means a party.

But sadly nothing happened of interest.

Danielle was first to grow up. She’s still pretty although the top doesn’t really fit her.

Danielle is Knowledge/Popularity based off of the wants she kept rolling, I get to pick in this house. It’s a little novel. Her LTW is to make 20 best friends. This is doable before she goes to college.

Jason was next, complete with photobombing family.

“My nose is going to explode when I get older, isn’t it?”

Probably. But I still think he’s a cutie.

It was also a birthday of another sort as Nicole went into labor. Much to her happiness.

“Mmmm I love the sound of my spouse screaming in the morning.”

“Awesome. Hold Diana here and you’ll get to hear me scream again.”

Yep... Twins. My game loves the multiples.

And we have Mark.

I have no further plans for kids from these two unless one of them rolls the “Marry 6 kids want.”

“I kind of want 10 kids now.”

So better outfit Danielle came home from school...

Found a job in military....

And then promptly got fired for picking a bad chance card.

Sigh...

“’Does not know the answer to life, the universe and everything.’ I’m six! I’m not supposed to know this yet!”

“Why haven’t you said hello to your grandmother yet?”

“My teacher says I know nothing.”

“Your name’s not Jon.”

“Tell that to her! I just wanna have fun!”

“I got fat,” Nicole announced one morning.

“Good, cause I don’t. At all. Deal with it.”

Another day, another party.

This time for the twins.

Danielle steps into the role of big sister with bringing Diana to the cake.

Diana Wheeler. Pisces. With stats of 5/2/10/8/10.

Mark is handled by Deanna.

Mark Wheeler. Capricorn. Stats of 10/3/1/7/6

“Our child is sleeping on the floor!”

“Meh. The maid cleaned it today.”

“But... But...”

“Meh. It won’t hurt her.”

“I cannot wait to be done with this...”

For a family sim, Deanna seems more like a pleasure seeker to me.

While Nicole is a Family Sim’s Family Sim happily teaching all of the skills! It’s really interesting the differences between the sims.

So this is where I’ll leave this house, with Jason looking at me accusingly for making him do his homework.

On to Tiffany’s house and the miserable sims challenge.

Fair warning, the sims in this house are insanely miserable. It’s worse than second gen apoc kids with medical not lifted.

Small house, rain threatening, mouldering bills in the street.

Yep, looks about right.

All the way down to poor neglected Sapphire screaming on the floor.

Where’s her mother, you might ask?

Why she’s doing the best she can to ignore all of her problems in hopes that they’ll go away.

Starving pregnant sim?

What would you do if you were in that situation?

I know the sane answer is get some food. She’s got a fish in her inventory and an almost fully stocked fridge.

But this is Tiffany we’re talking about.

Nope, starving means that it’s time to take a bath.

Or paint!

Or check the mail!

Or sleep!

Anything other than feeding herself.

When she finally realized the fridge was there, it was just to graze.

Not terribly useful.

Then it was time for Sapphire to grow up.

She looks like her father, Amin. And I forgot to get her stats.

Doesn’t Tiffany look thrilled to have a toddler?

Of course she isn’t.

She’s tired and the phone won’t stop ringing!

What’s a sim to do?

Burn dinner apparently.

Or fall asleep standing up.

Or in your food.

Or standing up again.

And when she finally finds her bed, Sapphire wakes her up because she’s stinky and hungry and wants to play.

Sorry Sapph. This is a miserable sims challenge and you’re just caught in the middle.

Yes... Play in the clogged and messy toilet. That is 5 points right there.

After playing in the toilet, Sapph crawled outside to get some sleep.

Which was just as well, since Tiffany decided that it was time to go into labor.

Meet Sparrow.

And his twin, Jarvis.

Yep, natural twins. I knew this was coming.

Jarvis seems to know that life for he and his brother is going to be miserable.

“More kids? Ugh. One was enough!”

“I’m going to go take a bath and just ignore everything. Eventually all my annoyances will go away.”

“Dear Diary, I don’t know what I did to deserve this... But please... Make it stop!”

“Mama!”

“Go away kid, you’re bothering me.”

“Mama! Mama!”

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!”

“Mama?”

“You know, kid, you’re alright.”

“Or maybe not! ARGH!”

“This kid’s much better.”

To be honest, Sparrow probably was. Jarvis and Sapphire were constantly having pop ups for them. Sparrow? Not so much.

And Sapphire’s back outside to try to get some sleep. Poor kid.

But outside’s better than inside. With two babies, it’s a constant scream fest.

And then the cockroaches arrived.

And the points flowed in like candy on Halloween.

“I hate my life!”

“I hate my life.”

“I hate my life.”

“I HATE MY LIFE!”

To be fair, everyone in this house hates their life right now. Tiffany’s just the most miserable.

And that’s saying something.

“I can’t sleep! There’s too much going wrong!”

She wasn’t incorrect.

I’ve never been happier to see a social worker before. Tiffany was a horrible mother and her kids deserve better.

Poor Sapphire was taken first.

Then the NPC rescued the other babies while Tiffany finally realized her kids were being taken away and she’s partially a family sim.

I wasn’t terribly sympathetic.

With her children gone, Tiffany collapsed in a heap out by the garbage.

Where the inevitable happened...

“What has this town come to? Leaving trash like this strewn about!”

“And I’m not talking about the whole pile of garbage either. Peeee-yeewww! Does this corpse stink! Oh hi, Death!”

“I’ve got some air freshener here. Let me try to deal with the smell...”

So that’s the end of Tiffany... Good riddance.

Her children will sit in the adoption pool until I feel like adopting them. And her grave and house will remain for those townies who annoy me to participate in another Miserable Sim Challenge.

To make up for the death of Tiffany, it’s time for a new family for some new genetics.

Considering that I’ve never done a good genes challenge I wanted to play with a prettacy starting with a really extreme looking sim.

How extreme looking?

This extreme.

Beau here takes horse faced to whole other level.

And straight on isn’t much better.

I don’t even remember what color his eyes are.

I kind of love him.

Since Beau’s starting from square one, he needs to meet people. And because I’ve given myself the extra challenge of only one pregnancy and no cheesecake for the kids, I need good genes right from the start.

He’s also not picky with who he’s gonna end up with, boy or girl all he wants is good genetics.

“I’ll take her.”

She’s gay.

“Does she have a sister?”

...Several...

“I’ll take one!”

It’s the typical get all the things you need to go live on a community lot for a while. Cell phone. Check!

Community lot with skilling items and food. Check!

Single ladies! Check!

Project find a spouse is go!

With minor breaks for eating through your eyeball.

This garden club lady is the first date. Dates are the only thing that will easily and quickly raise motives.

Ignore Jack and Hayleigh in the background.

Beau scores his first neck nibble from Ratna here. But I’m not sold on her for a spouse.

Nerissa is a better choice. But I already have a lot of playable sims with that face template. I’d rather use one of them.

Time to move to a different venue, but other than a few creativity skills. Beau didn’t get much out of it.

Thanks Mr. Streaker for the gift! But Pauline doesn’t live here anymore.

And Beau’s a little busy getting busy with Nerissa to give your gift to Pauline.

Then it was time to make friends. Most of these people were people he met on his various excursions. You don’t need 30 slides of him greeting everyone on community lots.

Doesn’t much like this guy.

But I’m okay with him hitting off with Dido back there.

Dido likes him too.

Celeste also had success with Beau, but again, I’m not sold on her as a spouse. I like Dido better.

And Jeremy is an option. I love his face template on both males and females but I know whatever person I choose is not going to be able to overcome all of the over exaggerated features.

With that in mind and the fact that I want to use more playables, Dido is the lucky sim who gets to try to smooth out Beau’s features with one pregnancy.

She seems happy about it.

Although less so when I add some glasses because Beau likes that kind of thing.

Well, they do say ‘Love is blind’ this marriage is going to put that to the test.

“I love you.”

“I do too, but just so we’re clear, I love you for your personality and no other reason.”

“Got it. So I’m the ugly guy and you’re the hot chick, I can live with that.”

The two finished out the season with a romantic day of fishing in the desert.

Hey, whatever works for them.
