CONTROS’ HydroC™ is a unique underwater methane sensor solving the global problems of the in-situ and online measurements of CH4.
Applications include Offshore Pipeline Inspec-tions, Exploration of new Oil and Gas Deposits, Process Monitoring and Offshore Risk Manage-ment.
Function principle
Hydrocarbon / methane diffuses quickly from theliquidthroughapatentedthinfilmcompositemembrane into a detector chamber.
The CH4 concentration is measured reliably by non-dispersive infrared spectrometry (NDIR) within a gas circuit.
