Page 2: Ch1
Page 3: Ch1

The purpose of my lesson is to teach students about the role of geologist, the different types of rock and how they are classified.

Page 4: Ch1

My lesson is targeted to middle school students and anyone else who would like to learn or refreshen their minds about rocks and the rock cycle. Learning about the major rock types are part of the national standards for middle schoolers so the material found in my course is meant to satisfy those objectives.

Choosing an interactive learning and assessment template was the most effective way of making a lesson on rocks a little more interesting and engaging. Once I get more aquatinted with developing interactive courses, I will be able to integrate audio and visual media with the lesson material for a more captivating lesson.

The interactive assessments provide course directors with many options for assessments. Assessments can be quickly created using the various templates like multiple choice, matching, ordering and many more. The system provides a greater variety of question styles and more flexibility in operation than most commercially available assessment programs.
