I am a stylist, event plan-ner, event decorator, interi-or designer, friend, daughter, big sister, mentor, girlfriend

and fashionista. I am an OVER ACHIEVER. I put my best foot forward in EV-

ERYTHING I do. I am finally on my way to making “My

Drawing With

Who would have know? Certainly, not I?, That you can create complete draw-ings out of just lines. The pictures in surroundence are of just that, LINES. As apart of a Computer Graph-ics homework assignment, I successfully created five drawings, (three of which Picture of a tall Drinking Glass

Picture of a largre Tea Cup

Picture of a Juice Bottle

are shown) with lines only.

WAIT, There’s more!!! We were only allowed to use, 100 lines...YES you read right, only 100!!!! Don’t believe me, count for yourself.

In contrast to the drawings on the previous page, these drawings were all created with VALUE in mind. With these three drawings, I re-ally focused on the viewer seeing the darkness and lightness of each specific object. To do this I used hand smudging, along with some overlaying of shades

from light to dark. I wanted the viewer to see the depth of the object. To do this, I made sure to include the top of the object, in a oval type shape, in which I used smudge shading to darken certain areas so they could see ex-actly how deep I could see into the objects. Moreover,

I wanted the viewer to see the different shades and values of the three drawings.

Craft:Using my hand, a computer mouse, a Mac Desk Top, and Adobe Illustrator I created different stages of the bowl above. Using the Pin Tool, and the Black Move area, I created styles of lines, differentiating in depth, width, thickness, and length. To create a type of volume to this cup, I used different strokes of lines, some going in circular motion while others where

either going vertically or horizontally. For shading I used different hues of green and red, to illustrate the areas that were dark and light on the origi-nal object. To get the images pub-lished I took multiple screen shots of my screen, and emailed them to myself. From there, I opened and saved them to my desktop, where I took the images from to upload to this blog.

Drawing With Lines

With this Adobe Illustrator created image, I really focused on the view-ers seeing the darkness and light-ness of this cup using tints, and shades, better known as Grays, blacks and whites. To do this I used the paint dropper tool along with some overlaying of shades, and hues of gray. I also wanted the viewer to

see the depth and volume of the object. To do this, I carefully con-structed each line so that it could form the shape of the object with-out creating a border line. In the areas that are darker, I also made sure to highlight them with a light color so that one could see exactly how deep the objects were.

What you are looking at to the left, is my first attempt at drawing with shapes. This was an in class as-signtment, that I didn’t

get a chance to finish, but as you can see from my drawing and the original

photograph, I was certain-ly on my way to depicting the shoe in a very much

realistic way

After much practice, and a couple of indecisive de-sions, I finally completed my assignment. Below you will find, my realistic

From Start To Finish

For the first draft of this project, I did a basic reco-lition of my original phto-graph. I was not trying to add too much detail, but I infact did.

For my second draft, I did some brief touch ups, of the first draft. I took great notes while participating in an in-class critique, so I was able to change specific things that my peers felt would strengthen my project, such as the backgor-und.

As I did for the second draft, I again, reviewed some of the points my peers made regard-ing my piece, and continued to correct them. For instance, on my first draft, the circles around the red pump were very uneven, and not com-pletely smooth. For my third draft, I corrected this by using the Ellispe tool, to create small circles and ovals.

Finally, after reviewing many of the notes my peers suggested I change and after much prac-tice, I came up with something that was very much close to the original photograph. Creating more sparkles on the phone, fixing the background color and texture along with fine tuning any lines all played apart in making this drawing what it is. For most of my corrections and revisions I used the same tools with the exception of the Gradi-ent tool, and Texture tool.

With the ample amount of options you have to choose from, you can mix and match, wallets, cell phone covers, and WAIT, even keys. All of which can match your most fasionable fash-ions, and be an accent. Hit the scene with something bright, warm, noticable, just NATURAL...FALL Into Fashion, the GREEN WAY

Pieces Of ME.....

Art has always been my strong subject. It has always been something I loved to do. IT NEVER WAS A CAREER CHOICE. From the age of six, my art pieces have been displayed any where from, The Beverly Art Center” School Art Shows, Poster Boards, etc. Art has become My Life, My Passion. Art has become My Career.

This is a drawing created using #2 lead pencils. I created this drawing from looking at a photogragh April 2011

I am a CreatorCreating art each day

Finding different ways to express myself

Without a Word to say

In light comes darkShadowing my brush

To design what I pleasePleasantly, no rush

I’m a loner, a poetA fashionista much more

From music to storiesNothing I do ever bores

Surrounded by angelsGuiding my feet

To that place withinWhere I shall meet

I am an artistA Creator each day

In all that I doIn all that I say

That artist withinWho hides alone

Who stands on her feetAll on her own

In the silence a voiceSo softly descends,

Bringing forth the artistThe artist within

I am Heaven SyntStanding out in a crowd.Silently making my debut
