Proposed Work1. The 2,842 square foot 2-story existing residence will have 139 square feet removed and 300 square
feet will be added for a new total building area of 3,003 square feet.2. The residence will be remodeled from a 4-unit rental into a 5 bedroom, 4 bath single-family residence.4. Miscellaneous sitework including new paved walkways.
Finish Materials - Existing Residence1. Existing exterior wood siding is in good condition and will be patched and repaired as required. New
wood siding required to infill at demolished window openings will be feathered into existing for a seamless appearance.
2. Existing exterior trim and exposed rafter tails are in good condition and will be patched and repaired as required.
3. All existing windows are original and will remain except as shown on the plans. All wood windows to be removed will be salvaged for re-use at new locations on the house.
4. The architect was not able to determine whether the existing front door leafs are original. We propose to maintain the existing front door openings and replace the front door leafs as shown on the plans. Lite pattern will be verified with Owner and HAHC prior to ordering.
5. The existing composition shingle roof will be removed and replaced with new composition shingles.6. The existing brick chimney is not visible from the street and will be removed.
Finish Materials - New Addition1. New wood siding will be installed to match existing profile and exposure. New wood trim and rafter tails
will be installed to match existing profiles.2. New windows will be wood, fixed operation, with recessed mounting. 3. A new wood rear entry door will be installed. Lite pattern will be verified with Owner and HAHC prior to
