Centre of Postgraduate Education for Nurses and Midwives is the biggest training institution for nurses in the region of south-east of Poland in Podkarpackie.

Centre of Postgraduate Education for Nurses and Midwives is the biggest training institution for nurses in the region of south-east of Poland in Podkarpackie Province, taking into consideration the didactical and organisational potential and the number of trainees.

The education of nurses operates in three educational centers in Rzeszow, Tarnobrzeg and Krosno. Each of the regional centers possesses didactical rooms including special medical equipment.

The Management Board is the governing and executive body responsible for ongoing training activities. The staff makes all decisions affecting the financial result, creates visions of the functioning of the center working on public perception - the opinion concerning the training activities.

Employees of our education center is a team of professionals with competences, great responsibility towards to work and reliability in filling of obligatory tasks. The most valuable thing is supporting and helping each other. We currently employ 19 people.

We are active on the training market from the introduction of the reforms in area of postgraduate education for nurses and midwives (1999 year)Our aim and mission is:•developing and improving methods of training •introducing new content for training programs•offering training courses for current needs reported by health care professionals

The main customers of our training are nurses and midwives. We also offer training for other professional groups, non-health related. They are trained for the provision of first aid and care for the disabled and chronically ill people in their home environment.

Our training offer includes:• specialized training e g. Emergency Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Oncology nursing for nurses.• qualification courses e g. Family nursing for midwives• training courses e g. First aid, interpersonal communication training, nursing process for nurses and midwives.

Since 2005 we have performed seven big projects co-financed from assistance funds. All the projects are implemented in a non-profit way. The participants do not cover the costs for obtaining the support.
