Information for Seniors: Emara Neymour-Jackson Stars in “The Wiz” Earlier this month, Junior, Emara Neymour- Jackson, played Dorothy in the Hawthorne Players’ musical producon of “The Wiz.” Emara is a dance major at CVPA and has been part of Ray Parks’s Advanced Dancers since her freshman year. She has had the lead role in Central’s musical the past two years. You always make us proud, Emara! High School Journalism Workshop The Greater St. Louis Associaon of Black Journalists is preparing for the annual workshop for high school students. The five-week program starts Sept. 11. Students will have the opportunity to work hands-on with professional journalists in print, mulmedia, broadcast, PR and photojournalism, as well as visit colleges and earn a college scholarship.
