Note that on the 6th floor of Sample 1 (Mechanical Room), there are two- (2) heatexchangers supplying domestic hot water to floors 5 through 7 (Sample1), one- (1) of which is out of service/backup. The one- (1) active heat exchanger supplies domestic hot water directly to floors 5 through 7, and alsosupplies domestic hot water to a master mixing valve. The potable cold water supply to the mixing valve isclosed, suggesting domestic hot water downstream is not being tempered Some sinks downstream of this 6th

floor heat exchanger system may be electronic hands free with cold supplies not connected (suggesting dead legsin potable cold system).
