The Volunteer Sewers are a wonderful group who support one another and together sew amazing items to do-nate to WIN House. We are happy to say our 3 raf-fle quilts now have permanent homes. With the help from Central Sewing Machines, Northlands, Home & Interior Design Show, The Woman’s Show, WIN House, Balloons, Bears & Bouquets along with other venues and Central’s Volunteer Sewers who sold tickets, a big thAnK You. To those who purchased our raffle tickets,

a bigger thAnK You; it was a success!

Sewing will start again on Monday, Janu-ary 9th, 2012 noon to 4pm. We hope to see you there!Merry Christmas to you all!

A group of dedicated volunteers get together to sew for the Ze-bra Child Protection Society at the west store. our volunteer sewers have continued their prolific production of quilts and pyjamas. Also, they have provided the 110 Christmas stock-ings used as the party favor bag by Santa and have added a special carry bag to their repertoire. Aleina, the volunteer organizer from the Zebra office, attended one of the sewing sessions to give each volun-teer a gift and to express her gratitude in person.

Although there is no immedi-ate need for specific fabric, anyone could join in the fun and laughter. All sewers are welcome to join on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, between 1:00 and 4:00.

For more info, call Debbie at 780.486.0047.
