She plans to attend Southern University where she will study mechanical engineering.

Isaih Martin will graduate third in his class. His high school honors include Wrestling Team Captain, 2017 Class

President, National Honor Society Parliamentarian, Summa Cum Laude, NAACP, Honor Roll, Texas Scholar, Principal’s Advisory Committee and Superintendent’s Advisory Committee. Martin is the recipient of the Regents Scholarship and Century Scholarship. He plans to attend Texas A&M University to pursue a double major in

animal and poultry science. His career goal is to become a veterinarian.

Timothy Willett will graduate fourth in his class. His high school honors include Honor Roll, Most Likely To Succeed, National Honor Society, and Texas Scholar. Willett received scholarships from the Raj Foundation, Charlton Pollard, Bioswanger and the University of Houston. He plans to attend the University of Houston. Chloe Dumas will graduate eighth in her class. Her high school honors include Rotary Youth Leadership, Honor Roll, Excellence Citizenship Award and the Ernest G. Mayfield Award. Dumas received scholarships from 100 Plus Black Women, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, NAACP and Texas A&M University. Shelton received a scholarship from the Rotary Club of Beaumont. She plans to attend Johns Hopkins University. Her lifelong goal has always been to make a difference in

other people’s lives. She plans to obtain a master’s in accounting or a medical degree. Her greatest aspiration is

to use her potential to benefit society for the better and to help build a brighter future.

Robyn Alexia Green will graduate second in her class. Her high school honors include High Academic Achiever, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rotary Youth Leadership Award, National BETA Club, and Xinos. Green is the recipient of the Antioch Scholarship, PVAMU Presidential Scholarship, and Prairie View Beaumont Alumni Association Scholarship. She plans to attend Prairie View A&M University where she will major in biology.

Carlos Almaraz will graduate third in his class. His high school honor is Computer Maintenance and Networking Certification. Almaraz plans to attend Lamar Institute of Technology to study technology.

Castillo is the recipient of the ExxonMobil Dual Enrollment Scholarship and the Smith-Hutson Scholarship. She plans to attend Lamar Institute of Technology where she will study computer networking and troubleshooting.

Nancy Toledo will graduate seventh in her class. Her high school honors include National Honor Society, Mu Alpha

Theta Math Honor Society, National BETA Club, Rotary Club, Youth Leadership of Southeast Texas, Summa Cum Laude, High Academic Achiever, Honor student and Xinos Chapter Epsilon Theta. Toledo is the recipient of the Hispanic Fund Scholarship, Pride Chapter of

Beaumont Texas Scholarship and the Texas Hospitality Association Scholarship. She plans to attend Sam Houston

State University where she will major in biochemistry. Her career goal is to become a crime lab technician. Nancy would like

to create a foundation that focuses on assisting first generation students, like herself, regardless of race, gender or citizenship.

Her high school honors include National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, BETA Club, President of the Hispanic Coalition, Tennis Team Captain, High Academic Achiever and Protégé Art Competition Exhibitor. Correa received the Tier 3 Scholarship and Lamar Academic Excellence Scholarship. She plans to attend Lamar University to study biochemistry. Her ultimate career goal is to become an optometrist.

Bond received dual acceptance into Baylor University and Baylor Law School. She is the recipient of the Baylor2 Law Scholarship, Baylor University Academic Scholarship and Baylor University Invitation to Excellence Scholarship. She plans to attend Baylor University where she will major in business and attend law school.

Mahad Rehman will graduate third in his class. His high school honors include National Merit Scholarship Program

Commended Student, U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad, National History Day Competition State Qualifier, Future Problem Solvers State Qualifier, BRAVE Vice President, NHS Corresponding Secretary, Student Council Executive Board Member, Medical Club Treasurer, Interact Historian and

Newspaper Sports Editor. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin where he will major in biology and attend

medical school.

Sonali Singh will graduate fifth in her class. Her high school honors include National Merit Scholarship Program

Commended Student, Future Problem Solvers State Bowl 6th Place Team, Most Creative Solution, 1st Place National History Day, 1st Place Texas History Day and National Honor Society. Singh received the UT Presidential Scholars Award. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and medical school where

she will study to become a doctor.

Brandon Smith will graduate sixth in his class. His high school honors include Honor Roll, National Honor Society Vice President and Mr. West Brook. Smith received scholarships from Jefferson County Bar Association, State Bar Association of Texas and the Episcopal Church Women’s Scholarship. He plans to attend Texas A&M University.

University Vice President’s Scholarship. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin to study government on a pre-med

track and continue his studies at medical school.

Emma Scofield will graduate tenth in her class. Her high school honors include National History Day State Competition 3rd Place, National History Day Essay published in the Texas Historian, Future Problem Solving State Bowl 6th and 10th Placed, State Solo & Ensemble Competition Silver Medalist and two-time Gold Medalist and Texas All State Choir Member. Scofield plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin.

Qualifier and 2016 National History Day State Qualifier. Luna received the President’s Horizon Scholarship and SMU Dean Scholarship. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and Dell Medical School to become a surgeon.

She plans to attend Texas A&M University where she will major in biomedical engineering.

Her high school honors include Soccer 1st Team All-District, 2014 Soccer Newcomer of the Year, National Honor Society, Honor Roll and Certificate of Merit Academic Excellence in Biology, Business, Marketing & Finance. Villarreal received scholarships from West Brook Soccer AB2, West Brook Soccer Booster Club and the Teague Foundation. She plans to attend Texas A&M University and medical school where she will study to become a surgical oncologist.

Matthew Balboa will graduate fifteenth in his class. His high school honors include Honor Roll, 2004-2015 Perfect

Attendance, National Honor Society, Key Club Member and Senior Superlative Most Dependable Boy. Balboa is the recipient of the Lamar University Tier 3 Scholarship, Lamar University Academic Excellence Scholarship and University of Houston Academic Excellence Scholarship.

He plans to attend Lamar University to study electrical engineering.

Jo Linn Threlkeld will graduate sixteenth in her class. Her high school honors include National Honor Society Parliamentarian, STARS Dance/Drill Team Senior Lieutenant and Interact Project Coordinator. Threlkeld is the recipient of the Summit Scholarship. She plans to attend the University of Oregon where she will major in marine biology. Her ultimate career goal is to work for a non-profit conservation organization.

Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, NHD State Qualifier, Future Problem Solvers State Competition 10th Place, STARS Dance/Drill Team Historian and Choir Rehearsal Leader. Kolp received the President’s Horizon Scholarship. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin.
