Helpful Hints

Stubborn isn’t a good trait – even for a mule. An apology can go a long way. Play fair. Be the Research Administrator that is needed for

the job. Be careful when setting a precedent. Include details in your correspondence. Find written policy when available. Quote from source material such as OMB’s. If

they won’t believe you…they’ll believe the Feds!
