Cell Culture Insert
Cell Culture Inserts of SPL closely mimic in vivo environment, providing improved attachment, growth and differentiation of various cell types. With its permeable property, inserts are convenient and effective tool for diverse research areas such as transportation and invasion studies.
Specially selected track-etched membranes of polycarbonate and polyester are used for SPL’s Cell Culture Inserts.
Polycarbonate membrane inserts of three different pore sizes are available (i.e. 0.4 μm, 3.0 μm and 8.0 μm). Polycarbonate membrane inserts are stain-free, providing low background interference.
Polyester membrane inserts are also available in three different pore sizes. Polyester membrane has the nature of high chemical resistance and low protein binding.
Track-etched membranes ensure precise pore size distribution and consistent pore density, providing well-controlled experimental parameters.
