• PIP is a £20 million fund initially set up to help fund electric vehicle charging infrastructure in 3-9 regions within the UK
• Successful bids in ‘Wave 1’ = London, Newcastle, Milton Keynes
• Northern Ireland bid for funding in ‘Wave 2’
• Pilot project to run 2011-2013

• 121 x 22kw public charge posts
• 5 x 50kw rapid charge posts
• 20% of workplace charging units (not exceeding 127)
• 100% of home-charging units (not exceeding 634)
• An open access charge post management system
