She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver GoldsmithMistaken identity, a drunken stepson, a bum-bling leading man, and a stormy night all con-tribute to the hilarity in this romantic comedy.Upon confusing his host’s house for an inn,young Marlow mistreats the lord of the manorand sets out to seduce the woman he presumesto be a serving wench. The performance is present-ed by student and faculty members of the Acting,Music Theatre, Theatre Studies and Theatrical Design& Production programs.McCrary Theatre

This Model UN simulation of a Middle Easterncrisis requires participants to react militarily anddiplomatically to rapidly moving events in theregion. Students take the roles of cabinets, non-governmental organizations, the EuropeanUnion, the United States and the UN SecurityCouncil.
