Dear Delegates! As the quote says Budapest is a unique place in Europe, where the East meets the West and cultures collide, where you can discover the special Hungarian atmosphere, and your dream can set sail! I would like to invite you for a journey in this fabulous city to get  to know the Hungarian culture, see the majestic buildings and learn the stories behind them, and prove together that Budapest is the capital of the parties and lively nightlife as well! On the first day you would have the opportunity to see main sight of Budapest, such as the Parliament, the St. Stephan’s Basilica, and the famous Heroes’ Square. But this sightseeing won’t be an ordinary one, because you would have to work in a team, face challenges and use your mind to get over all the obstacle! During this afternoon we provide you an alternative way to get to know the real city with all its beauties, to see the amazing Danube and meet other delegates as well. In May the city breaks out into blossoms, the streets are filled with people and even the weather’s calling you for a lovely walk in this amazing city! S I G H T S E E I N G

On the second day we will go to an authentic Hungarian winery and spend there an unforgettable afternoon, where you can taste the traditional cuisine. There we will have a lunch, you can find out how delicious “Babgulyás” is and after that we will have some time together besides a glass of  tasty wine. Here you can see the Hungarian countryside, have a walk in vineyard and get to know the other delegates a bit better.

B OAT TRIP

After the trip to the countryside, we will go on a cruise down the Danube in the evening. This event is going to be really spectacular, because the river banks are gorgeous on both sides, but at night they’re even better! The view of the Buda Castle, the floodlit Parliament and the silhouettes of the historical buildings, the charming fluctuation of the river and the nice company. It’s priceless!

And it’s getting better: after the cruise trip we will visit the always-popular Ruin Pubs which remained the most unique part of Budapest's entertainment scene. Have a drink in the ruins of old abandoned building adorned with a garage sale décor. It’s fun, it’s arty, and it’s incredible.

GENERAl INFORMATION The Study Tour will take place in Budapest between the 3rd - 4th of May. The cost of the Study Tour is 50 €, which includes two nights in hostel at the heart of Budapest and the price of programs: the sightseeing, the lunch and wine-tasting in the countryside, and the cruise-trip. The fee should be paid in a lump sum in cash, and regarding to the cancellation please keep in mind that we can not refund the fee once you have a valid registration for the Study Tour. For the Study Tour we can not provide pick up, the meeting point is Deák Ferenc Square, which is the main transport center of Budapest. We will send more information about the logistics for those, who have a valid registration.
