The aluminummelts at 1,200 degrees while fingersless than a few inches away, comfortably hold on to the metal onthe other side of the blue.

The putty replaces the need for rags totry and protect rubber hoses, plastic,wood surfaces, solder joints, valves,copper to plastic transitions, paintedsurfaces or glass.

It will act as a shield to protect from direct or indirect flames from a torch. Theputty is completely re-usable and you can use it liberally without worry about losingany product. Throw it back into the tub when done and if your tub starts to dry out,just add a bit of water and the putty reactivates nicely.
