Conferences

To provide forums for the exchange of information related to new and advanced electronic parts and packaging technologies for space and aeronautic

applications Identify and explore trends in electronic parts and packaging for space and

aeronautic applications in specific key technology areas.

Knowledge Acquisition and Dissemination

Through this effort the primary function will be to maintain and operate web-based system for

information distribution and archival. Administering users, maintaining the website, and “Mapping” the

contents of all the web sites where NEPP information currently resides.

System Upgrade

To provide users with a "central" archive with access to resources and information about NASA electronic parts, packaging and radiation activities with an emphasis on

space applications. The key aspects of the planned upgrade include: Enhancements to the User Interface, Enhanced search capability, More external interfaces,

Project support tools.

Standards

To maintain visibility in the working groups of the following organizations. The primary thrust for this activity is to attend at least six (6) conferences and meetings with the sole purpose of collecting standards information

and identifying external activities where the NEPP can leverage.

If the user is not affiliated with the NEPP Program then the NASA Sponsor information must be provided

An email is sent to and the request is routed to the appropriate NEPP Project Manager for approval


Upload a Publication

The Admin interface allows Admin Users to upload various types of files to the file system on the web server, so that those documents and images can be stored and retrieved by the Spectra system.

The application does not have on-line image or document (.doc, .pdf) editing tools.


Create A Task

Each Task is created by the Project Managers

Add a Deliverable to a Task

Each Task has a Principle Investigator (PI) and may have co-PI’s. The PI can

Upload Deliverables to the system. Mark the Schedule to show that a

Deliverable has been uploaded. Set restriction access to any Document

uploaded. Any members of the specified group will be able to upload the Task-related documents.

Each Task records all upload and delete activities for Documents.


Create a Page

Who may start this workflow Data_Entry Users may create a new

Page within the sections they are members.

Editor/Publisher Users may create a new Page within the sections they own.

Site Administrator may create a new Page anywhere on the NEPP site.

The user chooses a page from the page hierarchy

Create Content
