LANDSCAPE NOTES1. SOIL:
THE REQUIRED MINIMUM SOIL AMENDMENT FOR ALL LANDSCAPE AREAS SHALL BE 4CUBIC YARDS PER 1000 SQUARE FEET. THE TOTAL CUBIC YARDS REQUIRED FOR THISPROJECT IS 6,132CY. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A CITY OF THORNTON AFFIDAVITOF SOIL AMENDMENT INSTALLATION.
2. MULCH: ALL PLANTING BEDS ARE TO BE MULCHED WITH 4" CRUSHER FINE MULCH OVER
GEOTEXTILE FABRIC AS NOTED ON PLANS. SHREDDED WOOD MULCH WILL BE THEMULCH USED AT ALL SINGLE TREES 4-6" DEPTH IN A 30" RADIUS RING. AVERAGE TOPOF MULCH IS TO BE 1" LOWER THAN TOP OF EDGER. SEE DETAILS.
3. EDGING:PROVIDE 8" X 8" CONCRETE EDGER BETWEEN ASPHALT AND ALL OTHER SURFACESEXCEPT BETWEEN ASPHALT AND CONCRETE WALK OR CURB WALLS.
PROVIDE 8"X 8" CONCRETE EDGER BETWEEN ALL PLANTING BEDS WHERE ADJACENT TO SEED OR SOD.
4. IRRIGATION:ALL LANDSCAPE AREAS SHALL BE IRRIGATED BY A PERMANENT, AUTOMATICUNDERGROUND IRRIGATION SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM SHALL BE PROPERLY ZONED TO
SEPARATE PLANT MATERIAL BY WATER REQUIREMENT. ALL SHRUB BEDS AND TREESIN NATIVE SEED AREAS SHALL BE IRRIGATED BY USING LOW WATER/ DRIPTECHNIQUES. ALL TURF AREAS SHALL BE IRRIGATED USING POP UP SPRAY OR ROTORAPPLICATION.
5. MAINTENANCE:PROPERTY OWNER WILL MAINTAIN THE LANDSCAPE AREAS, INCLUDING THERIGHT-OF-WAY LANDSCAPING.
6. PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING:A PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING SHALL BE REQUIRED BETWEEN THE LANDSCAPECONTRACTOR, PROPERTY OWNER AND CITY OF THORNTON LANDSCAPEARCHITECTURE PERSONNEL BEFORE START OF CONSTRUCTION.

The back of curb to sidewalk area along Yosemite St. must be landscaped and irrigated. Consider lengths of rock mulch alternated with lengths of low water shrubs such as suggested shrubs on plant list. Shrubs must be under 30" in height in the site triangle.
Often times synthetic turf fields need to be hosed down for various reasons. You might want to run a couple of QC valves over to the field to facilitate easier maintenance.
