This plan indicates the direction that we believe our prefecture’s education system should move in for the next five years, taking into account where we think Tottori Prefecture and Japan will be ten years from now. It was created on March 20, 2009 based on the Basic Education Law.
Tottori Prefecture’s future education policy will be shaped by this Plan. Our goal is to have each resident of Tottori aware of their role under our Plan and to have society as a whole promote the Plan.
The Tottori Prefecture Board of Education will do a self-evaluation on the current Action Plan’s effectiveness, and the results will be reflected in the following year’s Action Plan. We will also revise the Plan every year, incorporating ideas from our residents who have read our self-evaluation results.
Every year we will create and publically announce an Action Plan, which will contain detailed projects created based on the Plan.
