The set temperature has been reached when the temperature indicator light goes off.Severaldifferentmealsmaybecookedsimultaneouslyonvariousshelves,astheheated air circulates evenly throughout the oven figure 9. Thehotairsystemcooksmorequicklythantheconventionalstaticsystem,thereforethe temperature should be set 15C - 20C below those recommended in your recipebooks. The oven door should only be opened briefly while cooking so any heat lossesare quickly recovered when the door is closed.CookingadviceFigure8 Figure9GRILLINGGrillwiththedoorclosedanddonotusethegrillforlongerthan30minutesatanyonetime. Thegrilltemperatureisvariableandcanbesetbetween50and200C. Beforeusingthegrill,pre-heatforaboutfiveminutes.Thegrillelementwillbecomebrightredincolour.Positionthegrillpanonthehighestshelfpositionandcheckcontinuallyasthetemperaturewillbeveryhighandfoodmayeasilyburn.Itisrecommendedthatyoudonotgrillforlongerthan30minutesatanyonetime.11GRILLINGTurnthefunctionselectorcontrolknobtoposition.Pre-heatgrillforabout5minutes,theinfraredgrillelementinthetopoftheovenwillbecomebrightredincolour.Placethegrillpanwiththefoodbrushedwithalittleoil,inthemostconvenient position (usually in the highest position, close to the infra-red grill).Use the detachable handles to move the grill pan in and out of the oven . Ensure thatthedetachablehandlesareremovedsothattheovendoorcanbeclosedduringgrilling.Check continually, as the temperature is very high and the food might easily burn. The infra-red grill can also be used for browning meals after ordinary cooking.Theovenissuppliedwithtwogrillpanhandleswhichclipontothegrillpan.Thehandles must be removed before closing the oven door.Werecomendthatyouuseovengloveswhenusingthegrillpanhandlesorwhenremoving the grill pan, or any of the oven shelves, as they become very hot when inuse.GRILLING NOTEAlways grill with the oven door closed. It is recommended that you do not grill for longer than 30 minutes at any one time. Note: Settingtheclockdeletesanyprogramme.AUTOELECTRONIC TIMERThe timer programme consists only of abuzzerwhi chmaybesetf oramaximumperiodof23hoursand59minutes. IftheAUTO isflashingpushthe button.Tosetthetime,pushthebuttonand theoruntil you obtain thedesired time (fig. 13). Having finished the setting, the normaltimewillappearonthepanelandthesymbol will appear. Thecountdownwillstartimmediatelyandmaybeseenatanymomentonthe panel by simply pressing the button. Attheendofthetime,thesymbolwill be switched off and an intermittentbuzzerwillgooff;thiscanbestoppedby pressing any one of the buttons.ALTERING THE AUDIBLESIGNALBypressingthebuttonyoucanchoose from three variations.NORMAL COOKINGWITHOUT THE USE OF THEPROGRAMMERTo manually use the oven, that is, withouttheaidoftheprogrammer,itisnecessarytocanceltheflashingAUTObypushingthe button(AUTO will be switched offand the symbolwill go on - Fig. 12). By pushing thebutton you can seethetimethatremainsuntiltheendofcooking.Thecooki ngprogrammemaybecancelled in any moment by pushing. Attheendofthecookingtimetheoven will turn off automatically, the symbolwillturnoff,AUTO willflashand a buzzer will sound, which can beturnedoffbypushinganyofthebot-tons.Turntheswitchandthermostatknobstozeroandputtheprogrammerontomanual by pressing thebutton.Attention: Apowercutmakestheclockgotozeroandcancelsthesetprograms. There are two ways to set your oven: 1. Set the length of the cooking time bypushing thebutton and the buttontoadvance,ortogobackwardsifyouhavepassedthedesired time (Fig. 16).or2.Settheendofthecookingtimebypushing thebutton and the buttontoadvance,ortogobackwardsifyouhavepassedthedesired time (Fig. 17). With regular cleaning the oven will remain in goodcondition.It is advisable to disconnect the electrical supply to the oven before cleaning is undertaken.ENAMELPARTSIn order to maintain the condition of the enamel parts, clean and wipe frequently with hotsoapy water. Any obstinate marks can be removed using a paste or cream cleaner or a wellmoistened soap impregnated steel wool pad. Rub gently so as not to damage the surface.Never use abrasive powders.Never permit vinegar, coffee, milk, salt water or tomato juice to remain in contact with theenamel parts as they may stain or discolour the surface.IfanycleanerssuchasasprayorastickareusedonenameltheymusthavetheVEDC(Vitreous Enamel Development Council) seal of approval and the manufacturers instructionsmust be followed.REPLACINGTHEOVENLIGHTToreplacetheinteriorovenlamp,unscrewtheglassguardandmakesurethatthenewlamphasidenticalspecifications,i.e.15Watts,300Centigrade.Besuretoswitchofftheelectrical supply.STAINLESSSTEELSURFACESCAUTION:ThestainlesssteelusedinthisovenisprotectedwithaSpecialLacquertoreducefinger-printmarks.Toavoiddamagingthislacquer,donotcleanthestainlesssteelwithabrasivecleanersorabrasive cloths or scouring pads.
