Over the last month, we have completed the structural demolition site-wide as well as commencing the enabling & pre-piling works. MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) has carried out and completed a preconstruction archaeological investigation and recording of the historic former area of Wedgewood Mews. MOLA operations in progress. See photo above Our operations will cease for the Christmas period on 22 nd December 2017 and are to restart on 2 nd January 2018. During the Christmas period, our site security team shall remain on-site during the break and they can be contactable as per the contact details on this newsletter. UPDATE ON CURRENT WORKS Please see below an update on the progress of the works at Ilona Rose House as well as the planned works for the next month: • The overall site area is to be made ready for the formation of ground source heating borehole installation by early start of January 2018. These boreholes will be part of the future building heating system that will use the underground thermal energy. • Piling enabling works and pre-piling works are ongoing on the site area adjacent to Greek Street and Manette Street. • Piling mat formation operations are to follow in preparation for the start of the piling works commencing February 2018.
