The CD3 chains are clustered in a group of two invariant dimers, γ/ε and δ/ε associated with a variable dimer which consists of ζ homodimers, or ζ/η, or ζ/γ FcR heterodimers (γ FcR being the γ chain of the Fc receptors), or γ FcR homodimers. The CD3 antigen is expressed by mature T lymphocytes and by a subset of thymocytes. u Hannet, I., Erkeller-Yuksel, F., Lydyard, P., Deneys, V., DeBruyère, M., «Developmental and maturational changes in human blood lymphocyte subpopulations», 1992, Immunol. Antigen Characteristics Antibody Characteristics References Other Name: T3, CD3 complex Gene Location: 11q23 Gene Name: CD3 Molecular Weight: 25-28, 21, 20, 16 and 22 kDa The UCHT1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the ε chain of the CD3 complex. UCHT1 antibody has a mitogenic effect on T lymphocytes. It does not react with those T cells lacking the TCR. It has been assigned to the CD3 cluster of differentiation at the 1st International Workshop on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens in Paris, France, in 1982, and it was used as a CD3 reference antibody during the the 6th International Workshop on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens in Kobe, Japan, in 1996 (WS Code: 6T-CD3) Size Volume Line Status Part # Purified 0.2 mg - - ASR IM1304 Purified 100 tests 2 mL - ASR IM1280 Biotin 0.2 mg - - RUO IM1301 FITC 100 tests 2 mL IOTest CE A07746 PE 100 tests 2 mL IOTest CE A07747 ECD 100 tests 1 mL IOTest CE A07748 PC5 100 tests 1 mL IOTest CE A07749 Size Volume Line Status Part # PC5.5 50 tests 0,5 mL IOTest ASR A66327 PC7 100 tests 1 mL IOTest CE 737657 APC 100 tests 1 mL IOTest CE IM2467 APC-A700 (1) 50 tests 0,5 mL IOTest ASR B10823 APC-A750 (2) 50 tests 0,5 mL IOTest CE A94680 Pacific Blue* 50 tests 0,5 mL IOTest ASR A93687 Krome Orange 50 tests 0,5 mL IOTest ASR B00068 Reagent Line: IOTest Format: Liquid Size: 0.5 mL Status: ASR Example of Results DS-17339A B2012-13506 Outside the US version ASR: Analyte Specific Reagent.
