Page 2: cd covers drawing analysis

Main image – gold crown, shows wealth, relates to his name ‘royal’. Name on the

bottom of the crown to show its his & allows the audience

to know that its his album cover

RMP- royal music productions(record label)

Black background so that the crown is the only thing in the

image, also makes it stand out

‘royal tee’s latest new album’ with ‘single’crossed out, this was done because he is a new up and

coming artist whom you would normally expect to release

singles, so for an artist to release an album so early in their career

is unusual.

Album title with a purple background as the colours

yellow and purple represent royalty

The side of the cd cover is simply the artists name,

album title and the record label.

The main image could also be the artists logo which would instantly make this album

cover recognisable to audiences

Page 3: cd covers drawing analysis

The background of the back of the album cover is

the same as the front which is the crown which could also be the artists

logo, I did this to create a theme throughout the album cover/advert

I wanted the inlay to be something recognisable, plain and simple which is why the silhouette of a crown is what I chose to

draw

The cd of the album has the album title written around the edges of the cd with a purple outline around it.

The purple is just sticking to the theme of yellow and

purple to represent royalty.

Page 5: cd covers drawing analysis

The artists name with a crown on the ‘o’. The

colour of the artists name is yellow and the crown is

purple as both colours represent royalty

The main image is of a sign in a field with the words ‘a better tomorrow’ on it with an arrow pointing in the direction of a better tomorrow. I

chose this because it

underneath, keeping to the theme.

album features

The red sun symbolises a bad past. The green sun

symbolises a better tomorrow which is why the

arrows on the sign post always face towards the

left. (green = good, red = bad)

Sticking to the theme of sign posts directing you to a better

tomorrow.

The main image is graffiti on a background of layered

bricks. The graffiti is the artists name and the

album name.

Music production company

The Side of the CD sticks to the theme as the

colour is the same as the bricks
