1. 1999 to 2014, over 56 quality Research Supervisions at PhD (13), Masters (26) and 17
(Postgraduate Diploma) at different Universities, nationally and internationally, namely, Kenyatta
University, (Kenya}; Kyambogo University, (Uganda); University of Dar es salaam, (Tanzania);
and University of Karlsruhe, (Germany), as detailed below. Out of these 45 are completed and
over 11 are ongoing.

Commission for UNESCO; BASF Stiftung (Germany), BASF (East Africa) Ltd, University of West
Virginia, Ohio University, University of South Carolina and many others.
10. My Directorate scored and was ranked highest out of all Departments and Directorates and
offices at Kenyatta University in the 2010/2011 performance contracting year.
11. Served as the founding Director of Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Centre which
has become a very successful story and an African model.
12. In 2012, I initiated and have facilitated very successfully the establishment of Students Training
on Entrepreneurial Promotion (STEP – Kenya Chapter) at Kenyatta University and in the
country. This is programme continues to benefit hundreds of students at Kenyatta University
between 2012 and 2014 where students receive a startup loan (Ksh8,500) from donors to start
their own businesses as they go through a 3 months STEP sessions and they refund the loans at
the end of 3 months but keep their profits. (STEP (Kenya) is a collaboration project amongst
Kenyatta University, Leupharna University (Germany), Kenya National Commission for
UNESCO, BASF Stiftung (Germany) and German Commission for UNESCO.
Courtesy of UNESCO Regional office, arrangements are underway to introduce STEP
at the Kenyan counties as well as at MKU effective this year.
