Overall Changes in the Unit
Proofs of the Pythagorean Theorem - Analyze attempts to prove the Pythagorean Theorem.
Circles and Squares - Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find the ratio between two shapes.
Short Cycle Tasks
The Pythagorean Theorem: Square Area - Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find lengths and areas and use the area of right triangles to deduce the areas of other shapes.
Making Matchsticks - Apply the volume formula to real-world situations.
Calculating Volumes of Compound Objects - Apply volume formulas to compound objects.
