No human experience can fully illustrate the imputed righteousness of God, as conceived by His infinite love. It is a mystery-incomprehensible and inexplicable. Like the mystery of the sun’s heat and light, we cannot measure it or explain it, and yet we could not live without it. Writing of the mystery of completed righteousness, Paul said, “We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. . . . But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:7). Ministry Opportunities

Offering boxes are located at the exit doors for your convenience to worship the Lord with your tithes and offerings. Please use the envelopes for cash donations.

Radio Ministry

Calvary Radio KYHW 94.7 FM-LP.

Children's Ministry A fun atmosphere is provided where young minds learn to fall in love with Jesus. Check the weekly bulletin for special, planned events. We also provide a nursery (birth to crawling babies) and Sunday School (walking toddlers to 6th grade). (7th & 8th graders attend adult service)

Ladies Ministry -

Throughout the year, many opportunities are made for ladies to grow in Christ together. During the school year, ladies meet for Bible Study on Thursday evenings. Look for specifics on special events in the weekly bulletin.

Meals Ministry This ministry focuses its attention on providing hot meals for families who are temporarily unable to provide for themselves due to illness, death in the family or accidents.

Youth Ministry The Junior and Senior High Bible group will be meeting twice-a-month for a dinner and discipleship time. Look for dates and times in the weekly Bulletins.

Harvest Festival Every year, Calvary Chapel Carson Valley hosts its alternative to Halloween at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, which is open to the entire community. What a great opportunity to not only keep children safe and off the streets, but also to show the love of Jesus Christ.

Christian School Faith Christian Academy is a fully licensed school with grades from Kindergarten to 8th.
