NEP 2020 recommends Art integration as a cross-curricular pedagogical approach that utilizes various aspects and forms of Art & Culture as the basis for learning of concepts across subjects. This pedagogical approach needs to be embedded in the classroom transactions for; Promoting experiential learning Imbibing the Indian ethos through integration of Indian Art & Culture in the teaching and learning process Strengthening the linkage between education and culture CBSE has been constantly trying to removing the silos between various disciplines and adopting a holistic approach in school curriculum by empowering its teachers and students. Considering this fact, CBSE is organizing CHITRAM-Two days’ Online Art Workshop for Teachers and Art Competition for Students to promote understanding of Arts and its Integration in teaching learning process. The participating teachers must join/report 15 minutes before the scheduled time on 8 th April, 2021. 2. Participating students must login at 09:30 am on 09 th April, 2021, for receiving the instructions. They will get the joining time through the participation link from 09:50 am to 10:00 am Competition time will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

    Chitram, a two days’ Annual Young Artists’ Camp for students,

    is one of the most awaited events for artistic expression at

    Varnalepana- the exclusive and one of its kind art gallery at DPS

    Nacharam. This year Chitram is expanding its horizons to host two

    days’ Art Workshop / Competition for teachers and students of

    CBSE schools. The competition is being conducted for students in

    three categories (Classes V & VI, VII & VIII, IX & XI). Teachers

    would be participating in an Art workshop conducted by eminent

    artists.
